Kabanas. Located in Muri, this lovely property
has several serviced, independent units suitable for couples,
with a studio unit suitable for a family group. This property
is small, and the service is personal, making you feel right at
home. A good beach, with kayaks available.
Aroko
Bungalows. This property is a good standard
at a good price. Located on the coast, but not on a beach, this
accommodation is private and peaceful. Near Muri beach, so if
you want to get onto the sand or go snorkeling its not far to
go.
 Muri
Beach Resort. This popular accommodation
sits on a prime beachfront location here at Muri Beach. Its twelve
deluxe cottages each have air-conditioning, king-size jacuzzi
spa bath, TV/DVD, lounge, kitchenette, and other "home away

Rarotonga has many fine eateries and
a wide variety of take out options. Listed below are some of our
favorite places.
 Trader
Jacks Restaurant. Located in the main
town of Avarua, right on the water, 'The Trader' offers a good
selection of seafood dishes as well as contemporary meals. The
bar has a Kati kati menu which includes pizzas, ika mata (marinated
raw fish), burgers and such. A great venue to relax, watch the
ocean and let the day slip by.
Tamarind House. This
fine dining establishment is set in an old colonial home with
magnificent views out over the water. Large open air dining lets
the sea breeze through while you enjoy excellent foods from their
menu. A relaxed, fine dining atmosphere sets this restaurant out
as one with elegant class.
Stefanos
Italian Restaurant. This simple venue is
owned and operated by Stefano and Roberta. Serving a menu of hand
made, authentic italian pasta, Stefano and Roberta serve you personally
in an intimate and casual environment. Open evenings only, located
in Muri.
